Under-the-Press Sludge Dryer

Configured to Fit Your Application:

Over the years, ConRec has evolved configurations that address both the constraints of
available space and ease of material handling.

For installations with limited headroom, the ConRec
discharge auger elevates the dried sludge and drops
it into the final disposal drum or cubic yard container.

The filter press fits over the sludge dryer
with the filter press legs straddling
                                     the sludge dryer
.

Where Floor space is at a premium and vertical
height is available, the sludge dryer can be elevated
with optional stanchions to allow placing of the
disposal container directly below the ConRec dryer.
The following photograph shows a sludge dryer
mounted on stanchions, and the disposal container,
in this case a drum, is positioned below the discharge
     chute.

Stanchions can be designed to provide a mounting
surface for the filter press, simplifying installation
.

                                                       LARGER UNITS:

For larger units where the dried sludge is hauled
in a rolloff container, the "vertical drop" arrangement
provides simple, reliable material handling with no
operator contact with the sludge.  The sludge drops
from the filter press at the top, into the sludge dryer
in the middle, and the dried sludge drops into the
              rolloff container on the bottom:

         DESIGNED FOR YOUR INSTALLATION:

To simplify installation, we design and build support
structures and operator platforms that integrate a
ConRec Under-The-Press Sludge Dryer and a filter
press.  The filter press can be an existing unit, a press
provided by the customer, or a ConRec supplied unit.
These custom designs minimize material handling and
fit into your available space.  Installation is quick.  The
filter press bolts into place, ready for final piping.

                Custom designed structures and catwalks
                  incorporate mounts for filter press;
                    simplifies & speeds installation.
